Visiting Filming Locations of "Midnight in Paris" (2011) in Paris, France



Written and Directed by Woody Allen.
Starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Thérèse Bourou-Rubinsztein.

While on a trip to Paris with his fiancée's family, a nostalgic screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s every day at midnight.

The first Woody Allen film shot entirely on location in Paris, France.

Visiting Filming Locations of "Before Sunset" (2004) in Paris, France

Nine years after Jesse and Celine first met, they encounter each other again on the French leg of Jesse's book tour.

Film contain long Steadicam takes. The longest of the Steadicam take is about 11 minutes.

The movie was filmed in 15 days, entirely on location in Paris.


Celine (Julie Delpy) waits Jesse (Ethan Hawke) outside the Shakespeare and Company Book Store.

Then they are walking on Rue Saint-Julien le Pauvre.

Then they turn to Rue Galande.

Visiting Filming Locations of "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" (2001) in Paris, France

Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
Written by Guillaume Laurant.
Starring Audrey Tautou, Mathieu Kassovitz and Yolande Moreau.

Amelie, an innocent and naive girl in Paris, with her own sense of justice, decides to help those around her and along the way, discovers love.

The role of Amélie was originally wrote for the English actress Emily Watson; in the original draft, Amélie's father was an Englishman living in London.

Filmed mainly in Paris. The studio scenes were filmed in the Coloneum Studio in Cologne (Germany).

Visiting Filming Locations of "Night on Earth" (1991) in Paris, France / Rome, Italy / Helsinki, Finland


Written and Directed by Jim Jarmusch.
Starring Winona Ryder, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Béatrice Dalle, Roberto Benigni and Matti Pellonpää.

An anthology of 5 different cab drivers in 5 American and European cities and their remarkable fares on the same eventful night.

Jarmusch wrote the screenplay in about eight days, and the choice of certain cities was largely based on the actors with whom he wanted to work.

Filmed on location in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Rome and Helsinki.
